From Airport Düsseldorf (DUS)

You may choose taking a cap/taxi or the train — both choices are easy and fast. A taxi costs around 25 Euro and takes at least 20 minutes. The running time for the S11 is just 15 minutes to the stop Friedrichstadt and costs one way for one person 2,40 Euro (January 2012). From the station go north into Hüttenstraße untill you will reach a fire station on the right hand side. Than just turn slight left into Herzogstraße. Follow it, cross Corneliusstraße and stay on the left side of the street. Approaching the corner Jahnstraße/Herzogstraße you will have reached the hotel Petersburg (walkway around 750 m, running time S11: 15 minutes).

With the train (public transport system)

From Düsseldorf central station: You can take the tram lines 704, 709, 719 in front of the central station building (Konrad-Adenauer-Platz) direction Polizeipräsidium (second stop: Berliner Allee). Exit the tram and against direction of train to the traffic light and turn right/heading south to cross the street. Follow Berliner Allee around 80 m and turn right into Hüttenstraße. Instantly turn slight left into Adersstraße and the first left again into Jahnstraße. Follow Jahnstraße approx. 280 m untill the second street crosses — Herzogstraße. On the other side of the crossroad on the right hand side You may see hotel Petersburg on the corner Jahnstraße/Herzogstraße (walkway around 470 m).

Walking from Düsseldorf Central Station

Starting from Konrad-Adenauer-Platz, in front of the central station, turn slight left into Graf-Adolf-Straße and follow it untill you will reach the restaurant Maredo (on the left hand side). Turn left into Hüttenstraße, cross the street and turn slight right into Jahnstraße. Follow Jahnstraße approx. 280 m untill the second street crosses — Herzogstraße. On the other side of the crossroad on the right hand side You may see hotel Petersburg on the corner Jahnstraße/Herzogstraße (walkway around 1100 m; walking time: approx. 15 minutes).

Your way to Messe Düsseldorf (exhibition center Düsseldorf)

With your own car
In 15-20 minutes (depending on the traffic situation) to one of the parking places around the exhibition center.

With the cap (taxi)
In around 15 minutes, price: around 20 Euro (depending on the traffic situation).

With the public transport system (ÖPNV)
Messe Ost (East-Entrance): take the Underground U78 from Steinst./Königsallee (900 m from the hotel), direction (Esprit) Arena/Messe Nord: stop Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstr.; running time 12 minutes, from there it is just 450 m to walk.
Messe Nord (North-Entrance): take the Underground U78 from Steinst./Königsallee (900 m from the hotel), direction (Esprit) Arena/Messe Nord: final stop Esprit Arena/Messe Nord; running time 15 minutes, from there it is just a couple of minutes to the entrance.

Your way to Messe Cologne (exhibition center Cologne)

With your own car
In 45-50 minutes (depending on the traffic situation) to one of the parking places around the exhibition center.

With the cap (taxi)
In around 45-50 minutes, price: around 80 Euro (depending on the traffic situation).

With the public transport system (ÖPNV)
From Düsseldorf Hbf: take the train (Regional-Express) direction Köln/Aachen, exit the train at the stop Köln Messe/Deutz; running time: 27 minutes, from there it is just 300 m to the entrance.
